CHELFORD SHOW & SALES - MARCH 5th & 6th 2010

At the 51st National Show and Sale of the British Blue Cattle Society bidding peaked at 7,500gns for a 22 month old Gitan Du P"Tit Mayeur bull BALLYKEEL DIESEL, which also took the Overall Reserve Championship ticket at Friday's show.

The Show's Supreme Champion was a 21 month old bull also by Gitan NEW CLOSE DICTATOR which went on to sell for 5,800gns at Saturday's sale.

Other notable prices from BBG bloodlines included two bulls from the same owner - HOLIROW CANNONBALL by Cajoleur De Rettigny selling to 6,300gns and a home bred bull CLAYFIELDS DOMINO by Blak Du Baty D'Eprave selling to 5,600gns.

On the female side the top price of 4,900gns was paid for a Cristal De Somme granddaughter - TAMHORN EMBER.
