50th ANNUAL SHOW & SALE CHELFORD SEPTEMBER 4/5th 2009

At the 50th National Show and Sale of the British Blue Cattle Society BBG bloodlines enjoyed a commanding presence in the show ring, winning 5 of the 6 pedigree classes and all the championship tickets.

The Male Championship was awarded to BETWS DIGGAR an Osborne son.

The Female Championship was awarded to TAMHORN DAFFODIL an Affute granddaughter.

DAFFODIL gained the Overall Championship with DIGGAR taking the Reserve ticket.

On sale day a Flash D'Izier son - BALZER CASANOVA - out of a Baron sired cow was the top priced bull at 5,500gns.
