Border British Blue Club - Show & Sale May 2009

At the Border British Blue Club's spring Show and Sale BBG progeny were, once again, to the fore with the Senior Male and Reserve Supreme Championship being awarded to Graymar Churchill, a 25 month old son of Bringlee Talbot out of one of the herd's foundation cows Bringlee Viv.
 

The reserve Senior Male Championship was awarded to Astbury Commander, a 25 month old son of Affute Du Ry Ossogne from Jim Barber.

On the day of the auction the top price female was a 2 year old daughter of Cajoleur De Rettigny, TYDDYN CIARA, out of Bringlee Wanova reaching 9,400gns.

For the bulls the second highest price of 14,000gns went to OAK TREE COLLOSUSS, an 18 month old grandson of Brutal De St Fontaine.

Four other BBG bulls achieved 5 figure bids.

The average prices paid for BBG progeny was above the average for the sale as a whole.
